Collusion Festival x TGLS Petition

1. Cannabis education and awareness should be addressed for all ages on educational platforms
2. The legal limit of cannabis that one can have on his private property of 1.2kg should be increased to 2,4kg because growers with more experience have a better outcome on their harvest than your average grower (meaning they can get more out 4 plants than your amateur grower would be able to).

The legal limit that one person can legally grow should not be classified by the number of plants.
3. The legal amount of marijuana that one person can carry should be addressed and explained to all law enforcement agencies (No more getting arrested for 5grams) Someone should be able to carry up to 100 grams for personal consumption.
4. Do you support the inclusion of the entire value chain of cannabis e.g. allowing businesses to apply for licenses to sell Cannabis-related products (allowing more job opportunities and empowering further job creation)?
5. Like the smoking sections in some businesses such as bars or nightclubs, they should have a cannabis smoking controlled section.

The above points are just a small part of a bigger plan that should play a role in fully opening up the cannabis market in South Africa. This petition is being managed by Bazukalaw on behalf of the Greenlabsessions in partnership with Jay-Jody and A-Reece to raise awareness over the circular economy the cannabis industry could empower in South Africa.

Since legalizing cannabis Canada has contributed to 98 000 job creations and 43,5 billion dollar to its GDP it’s time for South Africa to also open its door especially now when unemployment is so high.
